Final Fantasy VII "Dismantled?"

Is anyone familiar with this book? https://finalfantasy.fandom.com/wiki/Final_Fantasy_VII_Kaitai_Shinsho_The_Complete
Are their translations of it? I have yet to find any. It seems to have preceded the ultimanias and info on it is probably pretty buried at this point.

Yeah, I have it. It's not as comprehensive as an Ultimania, but there's some interesting little "what this character is thinking during this part of the story" segments, written by a dude named Benny Matsuyama (he would go on to write multiple short stories included in many Ultimanias).

There's translations out there of most (perhaps all?) of these segments from Dismantled. You'll also see the book referred to as the FFVII Kaitai Shinsho. That should help you in tracking down those translations.

Yes. That is the same person. They've been doing short stories for awhile.
