Don't know if it will help at all, but there's a petition at Avaaz requesting that Square Enix localise Type-0 for the West.

So far they have 6,150 signatories.

Sorry for the typo in the title. Obviously it should be "Get" not "Gewt".

They technically already localized it, they just gave it the Mother 1 treatment and decided not to release it. Give it a few years at most and there soon be ROM dumps of the unreleased US UMD floating around on the internet.
