Figured this warranted a post here, considering it's being scored by Nobuo Uematsu. New anime series based on the 120+ volume light novel series, Guin Saga, Japan's longest ongoing work of fiction which has been going since the '70s. It's a heroic fantasy story, and follows the adventures of Guin, a warrior trapped in a cursed leopard mask. Yoshitaka Amano also used to provide illustrations for the novels.
The first episode aired on April 5th, though no groups have subbed it yet, to my knowledge. It seems to have flown under a lot of radars, probably because the series isn't that well known in the US, despite inspiring well-known works like Berserk.
