I need to tell y'alls about the birthday present I got from my boyfriend. It was a mailbox badge with our names on it. Now, it might not sound like much... my boyfriend lives with me, although he still has most of his stuff in his own apartment. We've been discussing buying a new place together but it requires a bit of work - getting our apts evaluated, getting in touch with my bank etc. So before all that can happen, we theoretically live on separate addresses.
The place where I live require a specific type of mailbox badge. Like, it has to be black, font color white, all caps, etc. It's taken me ages to order one because... it would feel weird to order one with just my name on it when he lives there.
I was thinking of getting a sign for his birthday in May, but I thought it would be a silly move. Maybe feel like I was too clingy too fast or something. Like I was trying to rush him into moving in with me.
And then I open the envelope and he's done the same for me.
Literally one of the most, if not the most emotional present I have ever received.
His name is on my mailbox. <3
