This came to mind when I was reading the opening to Half-Blood Prince, where the dementors have been breeding and all, and people everywhere are just feeling so damn down and depressed. Specifically, this made me think of Aaron, and, as such, led to this line of thought. Seems like almost everyone I know is having a shit life lately.
