History of The Power Rangers

Is anyone else following this? It's a series of videos running through all the seasons for power rangers, and they're pretty fun to watch. Nostalgia aside, you get to learn some cool stuff, like for example Lord Zed was created exclusively for the american show, never showing up in the Sentai series.

What what I understand, he's doing ALL of them. Every season of power rangers. as of now, he's reviewed a total of 250 episodes

I stopped watching once jason and kimberly left the show. I missed my pink ranger I popped in every now and then every couple of years. It's amazing how little it's changed

Well, it's been running continuously since '93. There's 15+ versions of it (zeo, wild force, time force, ninja storm, etc) while still being one long story.

I believe their shit's gotten real CGI lately if I can recall.

I remember the good old days where either everything was Costume+Prop, ILM-like physical wizardry, or plain shitty editing of frames.


I'm pretty torn between whether or not Super Sentai has better theme songs than Power Rangers, though.
And when I mean better, it's difficult to describe what "better" is when they're all so cheesy that lactose intolerant people have a hard time listening to it

I think I was about 9 or 10 when Power Rangers came out where I lived, and I felt too old for it even then. It just seemed so silly, however I knew a lot of people that liked it, and it was quite cringe worthy listening to them. Captain Planet was another cringe worthy thing that was around at the time, I think, and I had to watch that when I went over my mate's place sometimes. Why!? Why!?

Recently I was caught whistling the tune of Power Rangers, and got caught, and was quite embarrassed. I had begun whistling randomly, but the brain naturally likes recognised patterns, so after I whistled the first couple of notes, I whistled out the rest. Oh, the horror.

If I got caught whistling the theme, I wouldnt care. Despite what you think of the show, the theme is badass. I listen to it regularly on my ipod

This was my main show back in the day. I always loved watching it and the pink ranger was my favorite. <3 Then when I was in college, I had toon disney and came upon this show:

It was fun to watch. Especially how the pink ranger acted so tough in it but when she transformed, she had the girliest moves ever. And I loved her for that. <3 I guess I'll always be a pink ranger fan.

I wish I would have kept watching but I couldn't afford college anymore. It was mainly because Johnny Yong Bosch's character Adam Park made a cameo in Operation Overdrive and I wanted to see it. At least I have the internet!
