Hitman beta out now, here's how to download it.

Beta is exclusive to the PS Plus members.

Last week, Square Enix announced that there was going to be another beta for their upcoming episodic Hitman game. The previous beta was granted to those who digitally pre-ordered the game, but this time around it is exclusive to PlayStation Plus members.

However, downloading betas from the PSN can be a little tricky sometimes, since they don't always plaster it all over the front page. So here are two ways you can download it:

Once on the PSN via PS4 or mobile, search Hitman, the results for the Hitman Beta will automatically pop up, click on it and hit download.

OR

Sony recently updated the PSN store on the PS4, so a faster way to get the beta is to. All you got to do is go down to 'Spotlight', slight to the right and you will see play the Hitman Beta.

The beta mission is set in a secret ICA training facility, "The Prologue", where players are to do two training hits while experiencing Agent 47's introduction to the ICA and their "very first meeting with his future handler Diana Burnwood."

The first episode of Hitman is set to release on March 11th for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.

Since it doesn't look like we have another thread for Hitman 2, it felt appropriate to resurrect this old thrad for this:

Sean Bean is known for many things, thanks to his long career in film and TV—but mostly from that, he’s known for his characters often getting bumped off in dramatic fashion. So much, in fact, that the next Hitman game has hired him to be Agent 47's next big target, in a very silly manner.

Announced this morning, Bean is lending his talents and likeness to the first Elusive Target of Hitman 2—limited time event missions returning from 2016's Hitman, where players have to track down and assassinate a particularly challenging target added to one of the game’s maps, where failure means you can’t try again.

As you can see in the cute live-action teaser above, Bean isn’t playing himself as an actor who’s “died” endlessly onscreen for our amusement. Instead, he’s an ex-MI5 agent turned contract killer named Mark Faba, colloquially known as “The Undying” for repeatedly faking his death on missions in increasingly elaborate manners. Like, say...dying in a fiery explosion.

You see what they did there. I wonder if he got his head lopped off at one point?

Hitman 2 players will have the chance to contribute to Bean’s ever-growing death count from November 20—a week after the game itself comes out on November 13—and will have 10 days to do so.
