How can I make gil-cashmoney quick?

I know about the selling maxed out All materia thing but I was wondering if there's an area for farming gil from random encounters.

I'm not at that point in the game yet. I'm at the "go back to Junon for Huge Materia" stage and I need some gil for chocobos

At that point in the game I've always personally liked fighting the Sea Worms on the beaches around Mideel. 5,000 gil and 200AP per fight. It's where I usually grind my materia levels too.
