I recently saw a really really NICE Batman Play-arts Kai and I'm wondering where are some nice places to get good deals on such things? Where do people usually buy them?

The figure’s price and release date are still to be determined, but if you happen to be attending San Diego Comic-Con, you can see a prototype of Nomura’s Batman on display at the Square Enix booth.

$100-150 a figure... owww my wallet....

There's a reason I don't collect these things...

1. They collect dust / take up room in my house.
2. Besides being expensive the price/value goes down even if you play with them a little.
3. I'd rather invest in "playable videogame versions" of said figures (i.e. like the Gray Fox costume in Metal Gear Rising).

^I see a bit of the resemblance, but I have a touch of bias about it. I shared the stage with Jack (the actor) once in a pantomime, and one day in rehearsals his hair was messed up in a way that brought Roxas to mind. Can't look at one without seeing the other now
