Thanks for clearing my doubts! Oh yeah I wasn't really objecting the fact that it conveys the right meaning, I was more wondering if there are some double entendre hidden in the phrasing, since it's open to various interpretations even just taking in consideration the few OG lines (blatant the hint at Aerith's story arc, but I think it fits also the "promise" and - considering also CC expansion - Zack returning to Aerith through Cloud).

Yes, Cid mentions Loveless on the Highwind, before the final battle, while the dialogue of the dream is:

"It feels like I'm being led by something. Then, I'll be going now. I'll come back when it's all over.”

何かに導かれている感じ、するのじゃ、わたし、行くね。全部終わったらまた、ね？

To be fair also one of the Shinra guards in Sector 7 mentions Loveless (both OG and Remake), and Cissnei sends Zack an e-mail proposing to go and see it together.

If I'm not wrong Aerith mentions Loveless also in KH? I could be wrong here, I've never played it but I recall watching a cutscene with a similar dialogue between her and Cloud.

In KH2 before he goes off to chase Sephiroth? I'm not sure if every moment someone mentions returning/or someone waiting is a reference to the last scene of Loveless XD But the parallel can be made, I suppose.
