I'd like to ask what the point is in having a Mod forum? Surely you can talk about what's happening with issues regarding certain aspects on the forums, say in feedback, suggestions and questions part? Why the need to keep it seperate? Just wondering.

Because we're elitist bastards. :duhard:

It's worthwhile if we ever need to discuss anything. Tbh, we just use it for staff and administrative topics, i.e. what should we do about this and this, etc. Forum related matters that affect the community as a whole are always posted in the Information or Feedback sections.

I assure you nothing serious is being hidden from you. :duhard:

Most businesses and organizations have private counsel. It makes sense to discuss details/issues in a contained environment instead of broadcasting everything in public. This regime haven't given you any reason to distrust them, so I don't see the fuss tbh.

I've made a point of this particular topic at the start of the forums, and have stated that all forum-related business should be in public forums as much as possible. The hidden section is there for mod discussions on specific members alone - i.e. we let each other know which members have been misbehaving and should be watched, ask about how to handle a certain situation (if at all), that stuff.

If at any time there is anyone who distrusts the forum staff, I wouldn't be bothered about opening up the mod section to either the public at large or a selected person. Although one should be warned that there might be some nasty stuff on some members at times, but even that we try to prevent as much as possible.
