We've got a poll for the most memorable FF7 moment, but which moments are your favorites in the other games?

For FF4, the siege of Fabul. Kain shows up and as a kid I was like "hey cool, he's back!", then he turns around and takes out Cecil. Then Golbez sweeps in with that creepy organ, blasts the rest of the party in one shot, kidnaps Rosa and swipes the Crystal. I was like "okay, obviously I don't wanna mess with this guy".

FF6, of course everyone remembers the Opera. But my memorable scene was Terra's transformation. You just tangoed with Kefka for the first time, defended Narshe, everyone is together, and it seems things may finally start to look up, and SNAP, Terra transforms into an Esper and flies away. You just knew nothing was gonna be the same after seeing that.

There's others for me of course, but that's enough for a first post. What moments from the series do you guys remember?

In no particular order...

- Cyan's family on the Phantom Train - this scene is so understated, it's really a heartbreaking scene.
- The death of General Leo
- The Floating Continent itself, and its aftermath
- The World of Ruin, Celes waking up to find out what happened during that year... and depending on what happens with Cid, she attempts suicide
- The Falcon rising from the sea as "Searching for Friends" begins to play
- Gau & his Father are reunited - another understated bittersweet moment and it's also pretty funny.
- The conversation with Kefka before the final battle - "you sound like chapters from a self-help book!"
- The ending

And yeah, the Opera scene is kind of obligatory.

They're the denouement -- the part which should summarize everything for you in the mood it conveys. That ending -- with its loss of Auron and Tidus -- followed by everyone's will to move on, culminating with "Sutaki da ne"? Perfect. Absolutely perfect. Captured everything I felt at the time, and made me realize how much the characters and their stories had touched me

FFXII - Drace's Death. I found this to be the saddest moment in the game, and it was just epic how Drace calls out Vayne's lies, now there's a person who's afraid of no one, and she probably would have suceeded if Bergan hadn't been getting high on Nethicite...

I totally agree. I actually cried at this one, because I couldn't believe it. It was totally a 'jaw hit the floor' moment. I really wish she had lived longer or gotten more scenes, so that I could have seen more of her character. Because what you do see... well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I fell in love!

This is what I hear when people call my mobile/cell phone. You'd have to be dead inside not to feel something stir within you when this music starts up.
