Someone from FFXIII.net has done some translations.
They mention that it looks like there will be quite a bit of sneaking around solo with Lightning.
The thing glowing at Lightning's fingertip is a "Gravity Sphere". They wonder if you can throw it at an enemy.
In the bottom pic, Lightning has backflipped into the air and is firing her gun. They wonder if this is also a gravity-based ability.
In a place one may think could be the sky city Cocoon, Lightning fights against enemies. In these shots, one could also see it as her running past/evading them.
Commencement of battle: If you come into contact with the enemy with your weapons at the ready, you take the initiative. A lot like the start of PsiCom battles.
Freely attacking: Upon commencing your turn, it is possibe to string together attacks. You can fight by grouping together various attacks, it seems!
(Random text on pics): Confirming attacks! Brightly colored attacks!
Firing wildly, she blows away the enemy monster!
Enemies enveloped in flame, what kind of magic is it!?
Things like Fire and Cure appear in the commands.
Lightning's new companion!
Her name is... Vanira(Vanille)!
She is a light-hearted girl who calls herself an inhabitant of Cocoon, but she seems to be hiding some kind of mystery.
The enemies that stand in their way: Pics of new enemies in scenes of Lightning fighting.
Monsters swarming and strong-looking armor-clad enemies.
Is the Holy Government using monsters?
They look like monsters but appear to be somewhat domesticated. Are they like the "dogs" of the Holy Government Military?

That looks pretty damn impressive...
I really want to see it in action though. If it's anything like the trailers, it looks fucking awesome. A seamless integration of command input, action, and strategy would be perfect. FFXII was very close, but as always, things can be improved upon.
