Pretty great, got to play Lightning Returns and FFX/X2 remaster before everyone so I've got that going for me.
Also it's like 18 degrees c in Feb so that's pretty amazing.

Good times. Of course it's around 20°C here so I've got it even better but still :monster:

Are you teaching English or what? I've pondered going to Asia to teach English myself but I don't think I could afford Japan :sadpanda: My top choice is probably D.C. though, but again, that's expensive too :/

I teach English on the JET Programme. Depending on where you get placed, it's not expensive at all. I live in the middle of the countryside so I don't pay much rent and have it pretty good. You get paid well enough to save and travel. Also it depends which path you take to teach English, I hear some people have it pretty bad with the big eikaiwa companies.

Might be something worth looking into then. Who knows, a complete change of scenery might do me well. Cheers for the info.

I'll have to ask which company, but I have a friend who went to Japan to teach English. The CEO or whatever of the company she worked for apparently embezzled money and fled. The school was closed down and all of the teachers were left stranded in Japan to fend for themselves. :/

I think that was NOVA? JET is funded by the Japanese government so it's a little more secure than the private eikaiwa companies.

also tanx 4 the welcome backs

Yo! It seems you're enjoying it. Sounds great!! Keep enjoying it more and welcome back!

If it wasn't for the fact I intend to work in the area I intend to work, that would absolutely be my choice. Teaching English (I am technically an English teacher) in Japan!! Cool......!
