It could be worse. It could get to the point where even major retailers start cancelling preorders entirely due to supply issues, as was the case with Super Mario 3D All-Stars.

that sounds pretty much the same as modern stuff, i hope they don't go any larger than that. i had to get an external hard drive because i kept running out of space on my 500gb ps4. if games are going to commonly bloat to over 100gb then whatever the hell, man.

I predict a lot of swapping back and forth between SDD and external drive because 825GB are gonna fill up fast.

And buying discs doesn’t save any data ‘cause it installs onto the HDD anyway...it fills up after like five games. It’s ridiculous how bloated game sizes are now. I swear it doesn’t have to be that way, but it’s the standard now.

Also, PS2 slims go on eBay for roughly 60-80 dollars, aka the price of a next-gen game

Should be obvious; buying a disc-less next-gen console and having PS4 disc of a game won't give you acess to free next-gen upgrade (that is if said game has a next-gen "upgrade").

Yes. PS4 disks can be played on PS5 with disk drive.

Probably just with PS+ or a memory stick, the way we do it now.

It is yeah. I'm confused looking at that image, is that ruler in mm? If so, the console isn't quite as big as I thought. A fair bit larger than a PS4 pro to be sure but not quite the colossus I was expecting.

Accoring to various UK retailers, as a whole the stock allocation between regular PS5 versus Digital only PS5 favors regular at 4:1 on average, the exact number varies per retailer but on the lower end it's at 13% digital and at the highest it's 33% digital.

I only played PS1 (yeah, yeah, nothing to be proud of), but funnily enough, X used to be a confirmation button for lots of PS1 games. Our good old 7OG was probably the only exception; I remember custom changing the buttons in each playthrough. So old ways are coming back
