Playstation Paris Games Week 2017

The conference is tomorrow at 1600 GMT, but the announcements apparently begin in the pre-show an hour before.

EDIT: I posted an image that was old and fake lol. Anyway there are going to be announcements at this conference so I thought it could use its own thread.

Kinda wondering how they'll decide what to keep for PSX. Ive heard they're trying to turn PGW into europe's E3, which might spread announcements kinda thin.

Sony's E3 was pretty lacklustre this year in comparison to previous so I'm hoping for some decent drops at PSX.

Yeah for sure. As a classic Playstation fanboy I begrudgingly felt like Microsoft "Won" E3 this year. They unveiled so many new games and things, and while their whoring out of the word "Exclusive" in the most lawyer-y technicality angle ever thing was stupid af, they atleast showed a tooon of new shit.

Sony showed people hanging from the rafters and like 2 new games. Don't get me wrong seeing new content from established amazing games was a treat (God of War etc.) I was really hoping for much more.

So this should hopefully fill that void.

True true. I guess I just over hyped myself due to the year prior being so freaking good I was hoping they would do a repeat knock out.

I guess the Big Sony announcements were mostly The Last of Us Part II, God of War, and Spider-Man games’ trailers/info (and other new IP announcements).

Hopefully that means it’s even more likely that a major FFVII Remake update/info/trailer will be at PSX (or Jump Festa) in December.

I had the conference playing while I was driving home (playing through car speakers) and when the announcer said "first in-depth look at this much anticipated game" for the trailer at the end of the conference I obviously couldn't watch it, but I couldn't make out what it was so at the start I was screaming "WHAT THE FUCK IS IT ARGH" and was really surprised when I saw the title card saying "The Last of Us II" at the end.

I was really interested to hear Hollie (of PS Access) talking about having been to Japan for stuff for the channel, it'll be interesting to see what that was about.
