Cat Rage Room

Balamb Garden has a ballroom which is seen in several scenes in the story, however it is never clear how the characters actually get there as the room does not exist when walking around in the in-game map. However during the ending, when Squall and Rinoa kiss, the camera zooms out from the garden, showing that the balcony is right next to the quad (where the cafeteria should be). So logically, the cafeteria could serve as a ballroom when the tables are cleared out.

Sigh. People over at the Wiki can be so goddamn dumb.

During the fight between Loz and Tifa when he lifts her up a part of her body turns invisible.

Really? Has anyone see this?

Also, I thought the "Tifa's gloves" blooper was fixed in AC Complete.

I haven't seen this, although I did see Cloud's sword momentarily disappearing during the highway chase. :P

And yeah, it was.

The Sister Ray cannon is not aimed at North Cave, although an FMV shows it hitting the correct target. This is known as it is possible to 'aim' the Highwind in the direction the cannon points- it is several degrees off. However, it is possible that the ray may have been deflected off the Diamond Weapon, thereby causing it to hit the target.

...what? >_>
It didn't deflect at all, it went through in a straight line. And I doubt Shinra was EXPECTING Weapon to show up so they purposefully aimed the cannon to the wrong direction, knowing that they could then deflect it into the real target by using Diamond Weapon and...
GAH THIS IS STUPID.

During the first chase scene, one of the Shadow Creepers seem to run on air instead of the ground.

This is pretty dumb too, since it was done on purpose. Cloud hits the thing while it is in mid-air, so while it re-materializes, it sinks back down to the ground (while still doing the running motion).

Gah.

I'm sure Shinra was counting on a Weapon to deflect the shot....:hohum:

Several degrees off is pretty minor. I'd say BC talking about AVALANCHE shooting Midgar with the Junon cannon is much more of a discrepancy.

Unless the cannon is able to turn more than 90° to the right (impossible actually) OR shoot around the whole globe, this really is one huge discrepancy. :wacky:

I mean seriously, did the writers not even LOOK at the FF7 map? lol. For one, the Junon cannon actually fired projectiles, so the concept of keeping it airborne the whole way around the globe is...ludicrous. (Though Scarlet does say the Sister Ray fires "mako-powered shells" doesn't she? Doesn't look like a shell...)

I mean AVALANCHE having control of the Junon cannon is a big threat, why didn't they just leave it at that. Or say they're gonna shoot Costa del Sol or something.

I don't know, it might depend on the fire power and the trajectory or something, using the planet's gravity for a slingshot effect.
Dunno if that'd work. :P

You know...even if it COULD get around the globe, I still don't think the could get a good angle to Midgar. Especially with all the mountains and stuff.

It would be an incredible feat.

Especially with all the mountains and stuff.

It goes through that.

Also, the projectile was so insane and overpowered that it created its own time-space rift, allowing it to change its trajectory and bend around the globe. In fact, it only reappears in normal spacetime a few times, coincidentally when you see it in CG scenes.

Well that vid isn't really correct either.

No shit, Rufus doesn't have any signs of Geostigma despite having his head bandaged. He's mostly just acting. He didn't need a wheel chair either. His Geostigma is just on his hand and maybe arm. His whole sick routine is a joke.

And the reason why Kadaj screamed was because he saw that Cloud's sword ended up chopping the box and hurting the pieces of Jenova inside. That's why he looked back at Cloud angrily. Cause he hurt "mother."

And I don't think there's really a ghost image of Aerith in that picture.

Also, the REAL purpose of the Gold Saucer is a Junon canon redirection station.

They just run a theme park on it as a front, and they close it in 'wartime' anyways.

The Chocobo racetrack is actually a major component of the mechanism.

I thought he was horrified that his mother was a rotting brain in a half-open slimy skull. That makes sense though.

Agreed. I can't see squat, let alone a ghostly shape of Aerith.

Kadaj isn't nearly so shallow to be horrified or put off by the fact his mother is nothing more than the remains of a broken head and some tissue fragments.

Kadaj loves his mother, no matter how torn up and diseased she may appear. That's what makes him a good son.

Except that he didt realize she was infront of him the whole time in Rufus' arms, because a good son would have known :awesome:

A lot of those AC ones were fixed in ACC, also they didn't mention Authorized Parsonel only.

EDIT:
whoops
During the bike chase towards the end, as Cloud and Loz/Yazoo crash through the security gate, you can see that the lettering is misspelled: "Authorized Parsonnel Only." It should read "Authorized Personnel Only." This is corrected in Advent Children Complete

Actually, the makers of the video misspelled it themselves as "personal" instead of "personnel". :awesome:

I'm surprised they missed Cloud's sword disappearing for two frames during the chase. But they did catch the whole mess with the small blades that randomly appear and disappear from his sword. xD
