I should participate, if only because I will never have a better opportunity (what-with still being on my vacation). It will mean that I have to read up on San Diego Comic Con stuff though.

I was thinking of doing this sometime in the afternoon God's Time (i.e. my time zone), so that would be early evening for you, Shademp.

We've got a good crew here so far. Do any of us know how to record shit on Skype? =P

I don't know how to record on Skype. Though I *think* this was the program used last time when I participated in the FFVII Let's Play.


I think a test run (perhaps tomorrow?) is in order. Way back when I was on the FFVII Let's Play commentary, my voice was breaking up for the receivers and/or first being silent followed by my voice being sped up slightly (as though it was trying to catch up).

If the problem is still present then I can try to troubleshoot it.

Besides the Skype recorder Carlie's told me about, you can use the Sound Recorder if you're on Windows 7. I use it for recording myself over commentary. I'd only recommend using it if you're actually talking only and not watching something. Just a thought. Maybe you could use that while on a Skype call to implement into the final thing? The format it outputs is mp4.

There's a lot of content stemming from San Diego Comic-Con and not everyone is knowledgeable about the same franchises.

So, good (i.e. not good) news. My Internet is down at home and my phone is my only way of connecting to the Interwebs until tomorrow when a technician will show up.

In other words, you guys must carry on without me unless it magically decides to work again sometime soon. =(

I'll keep checking it. Don't know when you guys want to do this, but if everyone else finds time, don't put it off just for me.

Ah, okay. Well, I guess we can shoot for sometime this week then? What would be good for everybody?

I find that these things work out better when we decide on a specific day and time. What about next Saturday afternoon between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. (Eastern U.S. time)?

That is if there's enough stuff out of SDCC that people are excited about talking about. This year was a bit of a letdown to me, but I definitely have plenty to say about stuffs if other people have stuff to say about stuffs.
