possibly looking into XI

looking for opinions on the game, whether i should get this or maybe something else, or anything related really. i just wanna know a whole lot about the game before i dive into it, so are there any players here, or even anybody who thinks they have a good idea of what it's like and whether or not i should waste my time?

i already have the discs and everything, i just never got into it because i figured out afterwards that it was an mmo (i got it awhile ago, before i started using the net).

holy shit this is the worst fucking game

when i played it and you died you lost 25% of your exp and you could level down which would mean if you were party grinding you might not be able to keep partying with them just to keep the exp for everyone around the same

you can't play by yourself, you have to find other people to play in a party with or you can't get past level 10

you almost always die trying to make it to other locations where it's easier to grind and you can easily die on the trip there, which wouldn't be a big deal if you didn't level down and didn't have to in-game save your location or you get booted back halfway across the continent.

so yeah don't play it it's annoying and a terrible mmo to play
