Remake gonna be released in parts

Hello everyone,

well it's been a while since I logged in, so pardon me if a similar thread already exists. It just came to my knowledge that the remake everyone is longing for is going to be released in parts instead of one big game. In case you haven't read it yet, here's a link:

Anybody else worried about this? What are the disadvantages and advantages of such a plan? I'd like to hear your opinions on this one, as I'm not so knowledgeable on such practice, though it seems to be the trend in the gaming market nowadays.

To be honest, I was worried at first, but I think as long as each part is a fun game that does the story justice I'll be fine.

Yes, as mentioned, we've known about this for a while. It would be a bit embarrassing if we had gone a whole month without seeing the news.
