Just beat RE4 remake. Some non-spoiler thoughts.

It’s really good, but it imo it doesn’t come close to the original and it isn’t as good as the remake of RE2.

Unlike the Dead Space remake which pretty much makes the original obsolete, RE4 original is still going to be my preferred way to experience RE4. Even if parrying is pretty sweet.

Also, did anyone else think Ada’s VA wasn’t great? Sounded kinda robotic and lifeless.

Mercenaries mode now out on Asia regions, 4 characters and 3 stages. It seens that the missing characters will be added later.

I love how everyone jumps/ducks the tentacle differently, Jill and Chris being pragmatic. Rebecca sliding under. Leon and Claire being super extra. Yeah, this is looking like some dumb fun.
