Meh, I couldn't think of a cleverer name so I settled for something dear to my heart. Anyway, I'll shut up and post my FF7-related junk in this drawer. Here is one my latest pieces. Also, if Sephiroth catches anyone trying to take or steal his underwear without permission, there will be proper hell to pay.

Woo, you've seen it! Yep, that's my baby. I was kinda shocked when I loaded it like at 4-5 in the morning. Usually that's dead time and I wait for the afternoon. But I was so excited to get that painting done, especially when I had a year's worth of art drought. I wake up like 4-5 hours later and suddenly see it got over 400 faves. I was like... WHUUUUUT?

It's a mixed media project: watercolor and digital. I have a two step process. Growing up as a traditional artist, I like getting my hands dirty. Working on the computer for me feels so... sterile. So I decided to have the best of both worlds. I always start with a watercolor painting. Then I take into Photoshop and start my digital painting process. My goal is to fuse the two together so that you get that sense of digital meets traditional. I call it fusion art. But yeah. The watercolor painting took like 1 week. The digital took 2 weeks. So this took a total of 3 weeks.

Just woke up, so sorry for the delay (gah, was close to 4 in the morning before I decided to close shop. Why do I keep going to bed that late??? @_O ).

Howl, I got your note and replied back. OMG, YOU'RE TOWEROFJOY?!?! Hah, I had a serious fan moment when I first saw your DA username on my page. I'm so pumped for Season 6.

And daaw, thanks for the kudos, guys! I was really surprised by how well that piece took off. Since DA changed the way your work gets 'promoted', it's been getting harder and harder to get the work exposed to a large audience after initial posting. You get this tiny window.

I'll be doing more FF7 fanart soon. I promised one of my friends I'd do a Chaos/Vincent. So I guess that'll be one of my next projects. Providing the urge to paint Sephiroth again doesn't take over...

Gah, I really need to get on that. OAO I gotta make a system that'll work for me. Still, I'll work on that. I'll try to stock up on envelopes and materials to properly ship art. And figure out postage charge since I always trip over that.

Heh, yeah, I have a wide range of movie love. That's like half my movie list. I know I'm missing more, especially the more quirky stuff. I forgot to mention Beetlejuice. (goes to update)

I'm going to be totally honest. I don't like Sephiroth fanart, because I see it everywhere and I think he gets too much exposure.

However, that is best piece of Sephiroth art I've ever seen. Ever. I love it. Fucking well done.
