So I noticed there was a PS4 patch today...

After taking my PS4 out of Rest Mode today, I noticed that a patch for this game was available, however, because a very big NBA game is on right now that I want to watch, and I'm going to bed immediately afterward, I don't have time to look into it. Anyone with time to kill wanna help look into it? I'm aware of bugs such as music glitches, slowing down after disabling 3x speed, the Barret affection boost at Cosmo Canyon locking players out of the Best Bromance Trophy (likely to be intentional to discourage doing so) and even a recent bug in Speed Square that freezes your ride after the UFO that is associated with the system Date & Time (basically, you have to change the system date to anywhere between Dec 5 2015 and Dec 31 2015). I am curious as to what this fixes.

I have no idea and don't know if I've got correct saves to check those things, but I will say I hope they've sorted the music bug.

From what I've read, it does not fix the music bug, although to be fair it never really 'bugged' me that much (pun intended)... Unless of course I happened to be travelling through the Gelnika, Mt.Nibel ir Sector 5. Don't mess with my rotting pizza ffs (the amount of times of stopped playing to smoke a fag, just so I can listen to that beat. In fact, I'ma play it now while I finish typing!)

As of late, I find that Anxious Heart has taken the top spot for 'favorite FFVII piece', throwing Rotting Pizza to number 2.

The main thing that I wish they had fixed with the patch, and I know that this isn't a bug as such, but the aspect ratio really pisses me off. Eventually I'll get used to it, but then I'll jump to my PC version to conduct some tests, and instantly the game feels 'right' (even if it is stretched)

Turns out it fixed the Speed Square glitch that surfaced after New Year's. That was the one where we had to manually change the PS4 date to fix it. Here's the video to demonstrate.

That reminds me of the shotgun glitch in the torrent copy of Mad Max. The reload shotgun animation would loop endlessly... until you changed your computer's timezone to Beijing. Specifically Beijing. I had to buy a clock.
