Dissidia is around the corner, and a lot of fans are talking about using ad hoc party to play each other. In fact, a lot of fans already have.
For those of you who have no clue what it is, this is ad hoc party.
With it, you'll be able to actually play Dissidia online with other people. The only problem is, is that a US version of Dissidia won't be able to play a Japanese version. So if any of you get the US copy and want to actually play it with someone online, you gotta be sure you find someone on ad hoc party that has a US version too
Hence, the purpose of this thread.
Here are tutorials to set it up.
It's pretty simple. And with that, you're able to actually play people online vs. just via ad hoc.
If enough people show interest, we could hold a Dissidia release tournament between forum members as well. That'd be fun, no? So yeah, discuss and this can also serve as a way of coordinating people to get online and play.
EDIT: Fuck, I forgot to mention this because I just remembered not everyone has a PS3.
There is also another alternative called Xlink Kai. It's another awesome program that can allow PSP's to go online and play other people by tricking the PSP into believing that the other PSP's its hooking up to over the internets are part of a LAN. It's another way Dissidia can be played with other people.
If not enough people are capable of using Ad Hoc party, Xlink Kai can serve as an alternative.
