FFOF wasn't abandoned, it just got hacked. No one can post. I think Aaron has been trying to bugger Yop to fix it, to no avail.

I'd make sure that wouldn't happen. I'd bug everyone on Facebook to come back, which has proven a surprisingly effective strategy for reviving a message board. FG has had over 800 posts in the last two days.

TBH revivals have been attempted at least half a dozen times and neither one stuck,

FG's revival seems to be pretty genuine at this point. It's a bit slower because it's the weekend but thus far a lot of the people who came back have stuck around, and we're still getting literally an order of magnitude more posts than we were last month.
