So, for yet another TLS exclusive, the full script of the Special Episode of Legend is now available in English. I would like to say a special thank you to my Japanese friend Sachi who has agreed to translate the script in exchange for British chocolate and candy. Seems fair to me. Due to contextual issues, I am going through the scripts and making slight amendments so that it makes more sense. I'll upload as I complete them. Enjoy.
(Narration)
At the end of the war with Wutai, the people feel the joy of peace. But, only the head of the Turks, Veld, can foresee the next threaten. To overcome that threat, he decides to bring back a certain man to the Turks.
Veld
“Come in.”
Tseng
“How may I help you sir?”
Veld
“I have something to tell you. I want to bring back the man who is in Costa del Sol.”
Tseng
(The man? I guess he means the one who has been under house arrest for 2 years. Because of that case…)
“But….I thought he is currently under house arrest?”
Veld
“The Great War is over now, but when anti-Shinra organizations increase their activity, we will absolutely need his help.”
Tseng
“Yes, sir.”
Veld
“Are you worried about the case 2 years ago?”
Tseng
“No…no, sir, but…”
Veld
“It’s alright. After he’s back, I’ll take care of everything.”
Tseng
“Yes, sir.”
Veld
“I’m relying on you to persuade him.”
Tseng
“Yes, sir.”
Tseng
(He wasn't at his place of residence. Where is he?)
**Two women walk in his direction. Tseng holds out a photograph.
Tseng
“Excuse me ladies. Have you ever seen this man?”
Juli
“Oh no, that’s him! Has he finally done something?”
Rose
“Yesterday he was with Kathryn, and before that he was with Jesse. He is nice to all the girls. I hate it.”
Juli
“Are you his friend?”
Tseng
“He is not my friend!”
Juli
“Okay.”
Rose
“He might be along the beach.”
Tseng
“I understand. Thanks.”
Rose
“If you see him, tell him to date me next!!!”
Juli
“No. I’m next!”
**The two women walk up the steps towards the plaza and enter the bar.
Tseng
(…….I suppose he is having fun……)
**Tseng walks along the beach. There is a red-headed man in a black suit staring out to sea, smoking a cigar, his back to Tseng.
???
“Tseng! I told you when approaching an enemy, you should hide your footsteps and shadow.”
Tseng
"What?!"
(I did hide my footsteps and shadow…)
“You still have great hearing.”
???
“Long time no see. Since the mission of [µ]-εγλ 1999. Have you also been detained like me?”
Tseng
“What?! Of course not!”
???
“Hahaha. I’m joking. So, why are you here?”
Tseng
“I want you to return to the Turks. Veld needs your help.”
???
“Are you kidding? Look at this sun. We can’t see even see it in Midgar. And these cheerful ladies. What kind of guy would wanna go back?”
Tseng
“….”
(He has no intention to return?)
???
“Forget about me. But, you! Have you been training? If you can beat me, then I’ll come back. Deal? Come on!”
Tseng
(I just wanna talk…he is always doing this.)
“Okay, deal.”
**The two prepare to confront one another.
Tseng
(It’s alright… I still have chance to win.)
**They duel. The man uses bombs during the fight. Despite his opponent’s casual approach, Tseng is barely able to attack him. The fight ends.

Are you ready?
**They do battle again. This time, the man is significantly more aggressive.
Tseng
“Shit….!”
(He’s stronger than before.)
???
“You’re getting strong. But, after you shoot, you still open yourself up considerably. On the battlefield, that would cost you your life. If I was your enemy, I would not overlook that.”
Tseng
“I hate to admit it, but…I can’t beat you.”
**Tseng aims his pistol at the man.
???
“Haha! You’re kidding! You’re pointing a gun at me like the first time we met.”
Tseng
(That day, 2 years ago….)
