So I recently found this wonderful gem through the power of Wii ware, and I've already played through it once and I'm on my second playthrough. I started up another game because of that stupid frog coin I missed in the beginning. Why they only let you get that once is beyond me but once I figured out I couldn't get it, well I had to make that right.
One thing I love about this game, is that it's so light hearted . I've been hesitant to play some other Final Fantasies sometimes because of all the emotional involvement. As much as I enjoy them, they always make me cry at some point or someone dies or something like that. And I don't always want to deal with that. So it's great to have a light hearted game that's basically a light hearted FF game. Plus I love the little things like being able to stand on people's heads when they walk around.
I also love how Mario never talks XD He reminds me of Cloud sometimes and his gestures. It's great how each character has their own special abilities that can help out. Gotta love that Geno Whirl if you just don't feel like dealing with an enemy XD
Another awesome thing is that, kinda like FFX, you can choose how to level up your characters. You can make them all melee characters if you wanted. I just love having that option.
My party usually consists of Mario, Mallow and I switch between Geno and Bowser. NORMALLY it's Bowser but I'll switch out Mallow for the Princess for boss fights. Speaking of, Culex rocks. Kinda funny that he ran out of FP when I was fighting him XD.
So what about you guys? You guys like this game too? I just love it, are the other Mario RPGs anywhere near this level? I might try to pick those up as well if so.
Also, just curious, when characters like Toad and Bowser talk, do you hear their cartoon voices? I always do XD
