Tech Admin?

Should we make Aaron a Tech Admin? I know I brought this up before somewhere else. The guy can definitely handle anything tech related, and he'd be a big help when Yop isn't around, so it only makes sense.

I'll put up a poll if you all agree.

But, we first need to decide the responsibilities of a Tech Admin. Should he have any input when it comes to moderating the forum? Or should he just stick to the tech aspects of the board?

I don't think a Tech admin should have any moderating abilities whatsoever. It should stick to the job, and we don't want too many cooks in the kitchen. Other than that, Aaron is good for the job.

Just a few notes.

* This is not our decision, but should be the members'. Why are this thread in the elitist bastard center why it's obviously not a topic that belongs here?
* I'm fine with not giving him mod capacities, unless the majority of the members think that he should. Mind that, given enough access, he could easily close threads or remove people's accounts or whatnot though.
* I don't think he'd need to have access to the reports section, with that in mind. Nor do I think he should be participating in member / warning-related businesses, although I can't stop him from participating in them and would most likely value his opinions on certain matters.
* Member decision, move this thread posthaste (and rename) or gtfo. I'll ban the next elitist bastard who puts threads in here that concern the site in general, .

That said I'm pretty indifferent. It's not like this site is pressed for staff, tech or otherwise. So adding more at this stage seems a bit redundant.

And not just what happened to me, but some other people as well because of the fact that he was given access to the AdminCP. Oh, and let's not forget FCF, FFOF...should I go on?
