Hey everyone, Flintlock here. I just signed up, and thought I'd better introduce myself.

I'm 24, male, a student from Finland. I've been playing Final Fantasy games since VII first came out. I'm pretty addicted to VII through X, and I just play them alternately, without bothering too much with the new games (or the old games, to tell the truth, though I've played ports and remakes of many of them). I find that there's always something new to discover, or some extra challenge to take on :)

I used to post on a Final Fantasy forum actively, many years ago, but when it closed, I didn't find a new place to go. I've been hoping to find one that still gives a lot of attention to the games I'm most interested in, and this place seems to fit the bill, particularly for VII. I came here when I was looking for some Final Fantasy music, and stumbled upon this. I'd be happy to comment on it, but I'm on the slowest internet connection in the world right now (away from home), and it's still downloading. It's been stuck on "14 minutes left" for at least 14 minutes, I swear...

Not sure what else to say, so I'll leave it at that, and wait for any questions. Thanks ^_^

Fangu: Finland says "hei" right back to Norway too, metaphorically! Our countries have much in common. I notice the remark about "SE" in your signature - could that mean Sweden?

Ghost X: I'm choosing to not reveal too much about myself for now, but I'm sure it'll come out eventually, along with the reason why I don't want to say just yet. Or, I'll suddenly disappear one day with no explanation whatsoever, but that's not my plan :D

It sounds like Flintlock might be an ACF survivor. We understand man, none of us like to talk about it.....we saw some terrible things..... :sigh:

I'm glad you got that *country says hi* reference, because apparently it's not as common in other parts of the world XD W'e're too FU'ed with Eurovison I guess. (Don't hate me. I was at the finals in Oslo (was drunk though). I know too much. But still love ESC.)) But somehow we do it all the time, referring to home country as *we*. Total awesomeness \o/ You're like from up north, or more centralish, or whatevs?

No it's about Square Enix. And like how they decide to mold the sculpture after their own wants :P

That made me laugh :D But no, not ACF. I did have an account there once (I pretty much had to have one), but I only used it - sporadically - for a short time and then got the hell out. Unfortunately I continued to hear about what went on there even after I had chosen to make good my escape.

I didn't understand most of that, sorry! I can answer the question at the end, though. I live in Helsinki, down south. I like warm weather.

Well, I say warm, and I'm you know what I mean, but for the non-Nordics: it was a "warm" -5 Celsius in Helsinki today :)

A 0,5 is like, umm... NOK 60? 70? Don't know because it varies so much where you go out :P It can get down to thirty something, but then you're really holding onto your handbag :lol:

70 NOK is 9,14 EUR. And it is not at all difficult to get beer for 4,57 EUR or less in Helsinki, so I suppose my estimation was pretty accurate. Some places here charge more, or they charge more depending on the time of day (or year), but I stay away from places that charge more than a fiver.

I meant to say 'a fourth'. As in 25%. As in it'd be a lot cheaper, because buying at the store instead of going out etc

Also invitation, depend on how much you and your gf agree to dress up as heavy metalists with hats with small finland flags on your head.
