The 'yellow-shirted' guy

Shademp posted a picture of this unknown guy wearing a yellow shirt:

Could this be the same guy?
I think he bares a striking resemblance to this guy's portrait in Aeris' house:

The hair line follows a similar pattern, and there is a dark pixel in the middle of the face resembling the mustache. And of course the yellow shirt.


What do you think?

Looks more white to me. It could be anyone; and, I don't figure anyone specific.

Although, the guy in the picture in the first picture looks like one of the Chinese Communist leaders.

The "yellow-shirt" guy can look like many things to me. Now it looks like a templar. Now it looks like Hitler. Now I see two doves to the lower left.

Wouldn't surprise me if its a photo of somebody from the development team though. Just like that face in one of the Rocket Town houses which is supposed to be somebody from the team. Forgot who it was, though. I think the Ultimania Omega specifies who it is.

Yes, I assumed it was a self-insert by one of the developers, a bit like Alfred Hitchcock.

From where I'm looking, that photo/painting or whatever kind of looks like the shot of Tidus standing in the water. Perhaps I can run with that as a confirmation that FFVII = FFX and all of that jazz.

Honestly, though, I doubt very much that there is any relation between the two and it's probably nothing. I do like the idea of a self-insert though; the developers have to do something to pass the time, I guess!

It actually looks like Tidus, haha. Except for sure it has nothing to do with ffx
