Timeline of Cloud's Geostigma

Hey everyone, I hope this hasn't been answered already.

Okay, well of course the geostigma took place after Sephiroth became a part of the Lifestream but when did the geostigma start to take affect? Immediately after FFVII? A year? A few months before AC/ACC? When did it start to affect Cloud?

Not totally sure if there was even a timeline but maybe someone here will know something about it.

All we know is that it happened while Cloud was gone from Seventh Heaven, looking for a cure for Denzel. No real specific point in time is stated.

Well that kinda gives me a timeline so thanks.

It must've been a few months or year after FFVII because Cloud still had to pay and have someone build Fenrir up.

ACC really helped give that bit of info in regards to when he got Geostigma.

It really couldn't have been more than a few weeks at the very most. Not sure why they never got specific about it.

Geostigma itself was around immediately after the Lifestream dealth with Meteorfall. Case of Denzel shows Ruvie Tuesti dying of it the morning after.

But people were contracting it at random times afterwards -- not everyone who had Geostigma got it all at one time. Denzel didn't show symptoms for a good while after Meteorfall, and Cloud didn't until even later than that, while looking for a cure (as everyone else said).

I always thought it was about a month before AC/C that Cloud got it, because from what I gather he was only staying at the church for a few weeks, and if the rest of the Seventh Heaven family didn't know he had it he must have took off pretty quick when it set in.

I got the impression that Cloud was in the church for only a week. Two at the most, but I don't think it was even that long.

I thought I read somewhere or from someone that it was like two to three weeks.

However, since I never write this shit down anywhere I could be entirely wrong. But I am 95% certain that it was a very short time period that Cloud was gone from Seventh Heaven, so, it still took a long time for Cloud to contract the disease.

Welllll.

A pre-AC Clerith would say Cloud was at the Church the whole time. Upon knowing Cloud did in fact live with Tifa said Clerith would say Cloud only spent a little time there and most of it at Aeriths church. Upon being told that by CoT Cloud did indeed spend most of his time living at 7th heaven they would still say months. They still for the most part say he got geostigma before leaving (one guess why).

So the rabid pinkers have gotten down to a couple months. While most people assume a few weeks at most.

Because if Cloud had Geostigma from the get go then that would mean that him and Tifa weren't getting it on and/or sharing a bed because then Tifa would know.

More Clerith proof, and all that.

They do realize that's a failure of a reasoning even without putting a Cloti spin on things, right? Anybody that lives with a guy in the house knows, there are times they walk about without a shirt regardless of whether or not they live with a girlfriend or platonic friend.
