Timeline of post-credits ACC scene - Source?

Since the release of Advent Children Complete I've been hearing that the scene between Cloud and Denzel, at the spot where Zack died, takes place two years after Advent Children. This would fit the scene in the same timeframe as Denzel and Reeve's meeting at Joh(o)nny's Heaven (Case of Denzel).

However I've been unable to find a source that tells us when this post-credits scene takes place.

The FFwiki pages on Denzel writes the scene as happening in the aforementioned time slot, but provides no source for this claim. The Cloud Strife page mentions the event but leaves the time ambiguous.

I have checked the articles in our Advent Children Resources page, even browsed the pages of this ancient TLS thread but I find no references.

Help?

Similarly, I was of the impression that Cloud's new Sephiroth-finisher in Advent Children Complete was canonically called "Omnislash Ver. 6" as an upgrade from the previous "Omnislash Ver. 5". But then I read in the FFwiki that this was name for the upgrade in ACC was coined by fans. I was convinced that there was an interview with Nomura that confirmed the name, but I found no such quote.

Just goes to show how much fanon permeates the community.

Yep, and that's Nomura who said it. Another thing we need to add to an eventual "obscure canon" article along with Genesis's last name and a more detailed look at the name "Gaia" for FFVII's world.

I know you have wanted this article for a while, and I want to write it. :monster:

Let me know everything you see it covering.

The only thing we can seemingly discern about the time of the post-credits scene is that enough time had to pass for flowers to grow on the cliff
(is that a proper term for the spot? I dunno)
.

There are no flowers there during Advent Children. The little grass that we can spot is very beige-looking (though that could be due to lighting). Then suddenly after the credits have rolled, the grass is green, growing evenly across the ground and the flowers are in full bloom.

So at minimum I'd wager that this happens a few weeks after the pre-credits ending. That's all I have left to say on the issue though, unless some old interview is unearthed where Nomura confirms the scene's date.
