I don't think anybody on the entire forum has the right to say 'lets get this thread back on track' after letting it go 10 pages without any discussion of awards or people actually casting or showing us their votes. Instead letting it descend into some monstrously unfunny 'who can make the lamest joke award contest LOL' and general spam.
I think people would be far more likely to listen if you'd decided to crack the 'lets get back on topic' whip a half dozen pages sooner and not just when Ryu's feelings got hurt.

I've been gone about a week. I honestly don't give a shit about anyone's feelings being hurt. The thread's degenerated into bedlam and it's to the point that people unrelated to the shit are getting annoyed. So everyone please. Alright, I'm going to come halfway here so everyone can be happy. I'm gonna close this topic, and restart a new one. The new topic will be used exclusively to discuss/publicly nominate individuals for the TLS Awards; that way, the community event isn't derailed and it'll still go on without a hitch. In return, whoever wants to make a separate topic about the current discussion, can. I won't personally intervene in that; however, I can't be held responsible if another member (s) of the moderation staff disagrees. I believe that everyone has the 'right' to call out and be called out equally, so I'll let you guys handle that one.
I want everyone to get a fair shake. Sounds cool? If not, PM me and I'll try to work something else out. Suggest something, even. For now, I'll lock this topic, make a new one, and you guys can feel free to continue the current discussion in the appropriate spot on the forums.
