Versant (ATTN: Shiny Toy Guns Fans)

Upon discovery last week, I found that Carah Faye Charnow (former vocalist of STG) made up a new band: Versant. If you were a fan of her voice or like classic STG (We Are Pilots album) with a bit more emphasis on electronica, then you should give her demos of Out of Touch and Push Away a listen. They're on the band's MySpazz page if you're curious. If anyone wants the songs I can offer them up as well.

Cause for like the last i dunno 15 years most bands to come out are so chopped up in the studio they sound nothing like they do on CD when they play live (i.e. there talentless and severely needed studio help).
OR they could mean the band has no stage presence and the bird just stands there singing with nothing else going on (which does get boring).

Personally i really only care for going to metal based shows, even if the band is studio enhanced more often then not they still sound pretty damn good.

Most bands that I have made the effort to see, and listen to, are great live.
I think STG was actually the only bad show I've ever been to.
