Voltron (Netflix Series)

So I have a lot of feelings about the ending of this show.
I'm not sure if I liked how it ended. I wish Allura didn't have to die, and I wish her and Lance hadn't gotten into a relationship at the end because to be honest I didn't like the idea of any of the Paladins being in a relationship together. I viewed them all as one big family, no messy romance, please.
And I wish the lions had stayed at the end instead of flying away to wherever it is they went.
idk It's all kind of bittersweet but sad.

I kinda liked some of the messy aspects of it.

I kind of liked the way that things really didn't end up how you'd expect. For me it made it seem a bit more like events & less like storytelling in some ways. Even though we had the big battle climax and everything to save the universe, nothing really went according to anyone's grand design, but it was a lot of failed attempts and scrambling to take advantage of the moments that they could.
It makes me think of this "LotR is a D&D game, not a story" thread on Twitter, that I bet would work really well if you made one for Voltron:
