Catching up today. Bought Batman Eternal 6 and 7, Secret Wars 7, Extraordinary X-Men and Titans Hunt 2. Will get new Star Wars and Darth Vader on Monday/Tuesday.

Titans Hunt 2 really only offers Dick/Alfred interaction and a promise of real development next chapter. Batman Eternal was fun. Curious what they are pulling with Tim. Steph was absent though (along with Babs, Robobunny and WAR), proving once again that adding Harper Row just made Batfamily a little too big for it's own good.

Also picked up Kanan volume 1. Can't recommend it enough. Art is top tier, it uses continuity from Shatterpoint and A New Dawn very well, writing's is good.

Thoughts: Lemire is spending a lot of time reminding us these X-men are merry old friends, he needs to tone it back. Titans Hunt can't get to that stage quickly enough. Right now it's only reminding me that a DC universe where Donna and Dick aren't BBFs isn't one worth following. As for Batman and Robin, whelp, they rode that train all the way to the end. Can't wait to see Batman dig himself out of the hole.

It's like Doctor Strange & Vision where I let it build up a little, got some opinions, and then picked up a few issues. I'm still following Doctor Strange, but Vision, despite being really cool, isn't my jam so I think Ultimates makes for a good candidate.

Also, Spider-Gwen this week has a flashback scene of Peter, Gwen, & Harry playing D&D – and the fantasy setting for it is Weirdworld, which is probably my favourite thing ever.
