I like "The Shrouded Village"(CC remix of Anxious Heart AKA Heart of Anxiety), with "Timely Ambush"(CC remix of Let the Battles Begin AKA Those Who Fight AKA Fighting) coming in close second, and "Vengeance on the World"(CC remix of One-Winged Angel) coming in third. The worst CC remix in my opinion is "The Summoned"(CC remix of Fight On! AKA Those Who Fight Further AKA Still More Fighting), since it mixes up the order of the parts of the song and removes my favorite part.

"Anxious Heart" remix as well for me. It's a piece I already like in the original, and the remix was quite good in my opinion. The original is still better though :D

Fulfilled Desire is a freaking fantastic song that I gush about all the time, but sticking to one remix, I'll have to go with The World's Enemy (OWA). It's easily the best remix of OWA, it's very different, but it really ties in to the character. It's so chaotic and mismatched that it fits better with the crazy Sephiroth's evil is made of in this time period. As opposed to the normal song which is more befitting his calculating evil by FF7 and AC.

I like all of the other ones except really the Those Who Fight Further mix and the Turk's theme. Why do all the Turk's Theme remixes ignore the most iconic part of that song - the snapping? I was cool with Chase of Highway in AC using just the guitar part as it was mainly just a shoutout. But both CC and BC (especially, it's ABOUT the Turks!) leave out the snapping and increasing number percussion instruments? What gives?

I got the list of remixes from FF wiki. I went through their article on the CC soundtrack and it conveniently mentioned which one were remixes of VII songs.

I listened to Fulfilled Desire after I finished FFVII and I almost cried, it was just too beautiful.

As for the remixes, the version of OWA in CC is the best for me. Aerith's theme sounded nice but I prefer the orchestra version but the CC version does fit her "love interest" status in the game opposite to the heroine of the planet in FFVII.

It is a very good song. But I don't think it really qualifies, since it's one of those medley type remixes, rather than a remix of just one song. The only way I think it could qualify is if it was put in as "First 2 minutes of Fulfilled Desire(CC remix of FFVII Main Theme)". It's also oddly not on the OST for some reason.

That's...very stupid. Neither version has the victory theme for some reason I had to go searching the internet for my version of that. But that would be another remix I guess :P

Fulfilled Desire is my favorite,from the ones to choose from,I´d pick ´´A Flower Blooming in the Slums´´ because it´s a great,calm beginning for what would later become the powerful and dramatic theme of Aerith in FF VII.

Can´t understand why the people like the OWA version of CC.I thought it was the most horrible version I´ve ever heard of the piece because it sounded more like a sweet little Harry Potter song instead of sounding like the vigorous and vicious versions in all other interpretations I´ve heard so far.My personal fav is the Distant Worlds version,the only thing that I would change in it would´ve been the ´´Veni,veni,venias´´ part which lacked the (piano?) bass of the original version in FF VII which still gives me goosebumps.I didn´t like the instrumentation and melodic changes they did in CC to the piece and they rather should have done an arrangement of ´´Those Chosen By The Planet´´,Sephiroth´s theme,when he still wasn´t a complete monster/god/whatsoever or even shouldn´t have included the battle as it retcons to me OG in which Zack didn´t had any chance of fighting against him really.Yes I know,´´Zack is the hero of this game,bla bla´´ I don´t care,he still has some moments in the game which highlightened him so I thought this fight wasn´t much more than fanservice I´d rather would love to have at other sections of the game to give them more content...
sry for my bad English folks,I´m tired and not so focused ^_^
