Hi. I am new here. Nice to meet all of you. I am practicing English by writing something relative to FF.
This is a short story inspired by FF7 Rebirth. I try to not spoil the main story so I don’t add time and location to this story.

Aerith wants to learn more about her nation’s history to get all the knowledge to stop Sephiroth once and for all. She chances to watch an illusion which shows a family who is fighting against monsters. “Well, I have gone to the wrong time and wrong place, so once again I have missed him,” a man who suddenly appears beside Aerith. He keeps talking, “But that’s okay, I can’t miss this good memory anyway”.
Aerith looks around, and then she tells him, “Sorry, sir?”
The man turns to see Aerith and smiles, “My mistake, I should have warned you,”
He introduces to Aerith all the technologies, skills, and strategies of the clan shown in the illusion. “The Ancients used to list all the clans and groups who supported them to protect our world," He says, "Together, they created many heroes and heroines. But first, some of the clans need to be challenged, like that one.”
Seeing that some children are beaten by the monsters, Aerith said, “They shouldn't have taken young people to do the challenge.”
The man says, “But it’s cool,”
Aerith throws the man an angry look. He looks at her, smiles, and points at the illusion. She returns to watch it. All the children are rescued by summons and magic. They seem to feel angry and beg their family to return the fight. While watching the fight repeated, the man continues to tell Aerith, “Unfortunately, we and the Ancients had misunderstood each other at one time, leading to many bad things and deaths until now..."
Watching a boy raise his sword to defeat a big monster, the man said, “…So I want to fix it before that will be forgotten forever,”
All the monsters are finally defeated. Aerith applauds while the Cetra and others congratulate the clan and their children. The boy turns to see the man and smiles. “No way,” Aerith is surprised when seeing that child. “Yes,” the man says, “He's my father,”
Aerith looked at the man. She asks, “Who are you?”
He takes off the mask and then turns to see Aerith. He says, “Thank you for supporting my son. We have misunderstood you too. Sorry, Ms. Gainsborough.”
