So this is the video game medley I did for my piano recital this year; couple of mistakes but oh well.

This is actually a shortened version of a much longer medley I've been working on - I had to shorten it for the recital. Hope you guys enjoy, and feel free to make concrit if you like.

Also, if anyone has requests or suggestions of awesome piano pieces I should learn/record, feel free to link.

This is amazing. You should post the full medley when you're done working on it. I noticed that Aerith's theme wasn't subtitled like all the other tracks were, or else maybe I just missed it.

Also I would love to hear a piano version of Dancing Mad. Not sure an arrangement even exists though.

Thanks :monster: I intend to post the full medley eventually. And the subtitle is there, right at the beginning of it.

I know there's at least a simplified piano version of it. I'll nab the sheet music for it. :monster:

Will you marry me?

No, really. As the people in the IRC can attest, I was getting more floored - if that's possible - with each song that came up. FFTactics Title? Sonic 2 Boss? More Tactics? That great transition into Fighting? If I was good at piano, Fighting would be the song I'd learn, I always thought the piano version looked like fun to play.
Unbelievable. That was fantastic. I...I don't even know what else to say :monster:

Very nice. Seamless transitions from song to song. Awesome to have a TLS member post something like this.

I'm also amazed to see that there are people who still wear wrist watches. :awesome:

This is the best thing of the forever and now I wish I still had my sheet music for stuff I wrote. Or that I still wrote stuff.

Only have this recording from the program I used, of the beginnings of one song. Lost everything else in a comp crash.

Dude, that's pretty awesome. You should definitely write more music. What program did you use?

I'm also amazed to see that there are people who still wear wrist watches. :awesome:

Wrist watches are the fucking shit and I will gladly fight anyone who claims otherwise. :awesome:

Thanks all for the comments :monster:

Finale Notepad.

I used to own the latest version, but it turns out you need to save the code and the install program if you reinstall windows because they won't give it to you again.

I guess Notepad is okay for single-member compositions like for the piano, but ever tried the full-on Finale program?

I have 2009c with GPO and it sounds absolutely godly :3

only some of it

:awesome:

ed: i mean some of it was like off my high school's software that so happened to allow me to get a copy of the base version but i thought why the hell not i'll get myself my GPO

My first composition with Notepad was taking an FF7 song and changing it from just piano to piano, clarinet, flute, percussion and one other thing...

And it sounded pretty good.

I bet you'd have a good ear for composing! You should try your hand at some pieces.

Most of the stuff I compose turn into enormous ridiculous clusterfucking :3
