Music Update for the PC release of Final Fantasy VII

In this week’s roundup: S-E updates the music of the PC release of FFVII; FFVII is at half price on Steam until Monday; Vanille confirmed to appear in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII; plus the latest from our forum.

 

Square-Enix updates the music of the PC Release of FFVII (via Square-Enix NA’s blog)

ffvii-ost-coverAfter fans petitioning for the original FFVII’s soundtrack to replace the one from the PC Release, which was mostly composed of Midi Files (see here for the petition), Square-Enix listened to its fans and decided to release an update for the game that includes an audio upgrade. According to S-E, such update will happen automaticaly the next time one plays the game. Credits go to our member Pixel for bringing this to our attention.

 

Final Fantasy VII is at half price on Steam until Monday (via Facebook’s FFVII Fan page)

Vanille confirmed to appear in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII

Sporting the same uniform than in FFXIII, Vanille has however a new headress, which gives her a look of some kind of priestess. Credits go to our member Kuja9001 for bringing this to our attention.
