The above link links to Square’s official site, with the official announcement of Advent Children Complete. A translated version of the article reveals the official length of the new version will be 126 minutes – exactly 25 more than the original version had. The movie will be released April the 16th in Japan, with both Japanese and English dubs – but, oddly enough, only Japanese subtitles.

Next to the movie itself, Advent Children Complete will also be supplied with an FFXIII demo – if I’m reading it right, our translators can probably do a better job than Google can. Next to the regular version, a Limited Edition will also be released (but I might be misreading it – the special edition’s cheaper than the one with the demo), but it doesn’t seem to be shipped with the demo.

Finally, as our previous article stated, a special, limited edition Playstation 3 will also be released, with the Cloudy Wolf logo on its cover. Of course, the movie and the FFXIII demo will also be shipped with that.

The edition with the demo will be shipped for 5,900 yen (about $65.27), the limited (or regular?) edition at 4,900 yen ($54.20), and the limited edition PS3 will ship at 49,980 yen ($552.88). No information is known about a western release date yet, but that’ll probably be announced soon.

I thought this thing was supposed to have 26 different language dubs? D:

    Or were those just rumors?

I haven’t heard any of those rumors on the Internets, and even then, I doubt that would happen. Even ‘regular’ movies get, at most, a dub in German, Spanish / Portugese and French, at least in Yurp.

Subs would be a more likely option.
