Yep Johnny Depp is still getting jobs with them despite his domestic abuse so Disney comes off rather disingenuous here. Either they didn't do their due diligence when they hired Gunn or more likely they did but didn't give a fuck about his comments and now are throwing him under the bus to save face.

It's gonna be DAMN hard for them not to address something like that by the main cast of the film, especially since everyone who follows any of the actors on their individual social media accounts are gonna see it, not to mention all the articles showing up.

There's no way that the press isn't gonna ask about it if they try and silently dodge the question, so they're almost CERTAINLY gonna have to have a formal response of some kind. I wouldn't expect it immediately, but I'm DEFINITELY expecting one.
