They kinda look not as...I dunno, enthusiastic?

In the original Sonic 2 logo, Sonic was like "FUCK YEAH, LET'S GO", here he looks like "lol I need a ride".

I feel a little silly for only now figuring out that to access the time attack and 30 second challenges in Generations you have to go back out to he main menu, but it's okay because I beat both Tets' and Tenny's times on Green Hill Zone AND their 30 second trials there.

Blargh, I only have one trophy left and it's the don't-take-damage one on the final boss. I'm sure it's not really that hard (and hitting debris doesn't count), but the problem is Super Sonic barely reacts when he gets hit so you hardly notice and finish the whole battle only not get the trophy

And do Sonic's *$^%ing friends have to tell what move Robotnik's doing EVERY SINGLE TIME?!
At least I can play it to Star light Zone...

I have the trophy for not getting hit.

I haven't bothered to get the other ones related to challenged etc though. Haven't really played the game in a while.

Oh hey I forgot to tell you guys...

I broke down and got Sonic 2 off the PSN.

The vs mode...we can play against each other.

As in, live. Not upload a score and hope it's better.

This needs to happen.

Everyone knows that he was only ever called Dr. Ivo Robotnik in the west right? He's always been called Eggman in Japan.

I loved that Tails reference at the end too though, I'm glad the name Robotnik at least got some recognition.

Yeah, he was always Eggman in Japan, then in Sonic Adventure Sega ran with it and had his name be Robotnik and Eggman was just an insult that Sonic called him.

But now I guess it's fully Eggman so I dunno.

And then in Sonic X and Adventure 2 (I think?) it was his grandfather that was named Robotnik.

In the Archie comics he is listed as Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik.

Was gonna say, s'far as I know in the West its now official that his real name is Robotnik (last name of course) with Eggman starting off as an insult that got adopted as a nickname.
