![]() One Wined Angel Golbez, Clad in Darkness Dancing Mad JENOVA Battle With Golbez's Four Emperors Those Chosen by the Planet There's a good chance for the first three(Actually, OWA is featured in the new Cloud vs Sephiroth video, so that's confirmed), but I'd love to hear the others in this game as well. |

I like 'Four Emperors', and would be interested to see what Ishimoto would make of it.
'You're Not Alone!' from FFIX, and 'Maybe I'm a Lion' (?) from FFVIII as well.

"Fighting" -FFVII
"Man with a Machine Gun" - FFVIII Those are the major ones, "Prelude" - FFVII But those are what I wouldn't mind having as additional soundtracks. |

"The Dark Messenger" is a must when fighting Kuja!
![]() Since Dissidia is to celebrate Final Fantasy's 20th Anniversary, maybe they'll include in the game a mode that allow us to listen to the most iconic songs of each game and the series in general.

The Ultimania Alpha apparently mentions what songs play on the map scenes for each stage:
FF1 - Main Theme FF2 - Main Theme FF3 - Eternal Winds FF4 - Main Theme FF5 - Four Hearts FF6 - Terra's Theme FF7 - Main Theme FF8 - Blue Fields FF9 - Over That Hill FF10 - In Zanarkand

But only the villains and other heroes have themes. The protagonist rarely has their own theme and usually shares it with the game's theme. But this looks like they did just that, the villain's themes (well, at least OWA so far), and heroes' themes (also the main themes of their respective games)

I Really Wish they Would Stop using "Those who Fight Futher" I just want "Those Who Fight"
Sounds beautiful for Dissidia. FF7 - Main Theme Its not officially the theme, but it'd rock. ( I like Piano Arrangements ) |

Hmm, I'd have to say I want all of the villain themes when in combat. I always find those to be the kind that get my heart pumping. But they would have to redo them all in a modern update like they've done with One Winged Angel. Maybe a series of remixes on those.
Also for the overall main theme, do an orchestral movement that includes all of the main riffs from the various main themes. So for example, started it off with the FFV theme, then it escalates into FFVII, from there a large creshendo into FFX, then the sudden plummet where FFVI and FFIV pick it up, a second main creshendo into FFVIII and FFIX. Then The grand finale is FFI, FFII and FFIII in reverse order.

I want all 12 fucking minutes of "Dancing Mad" from FFVI.
Even though this theme isn't Golbez's...I want the theme from when you fight Zeromus as well. The Dreadful Battle from FFIV would be another great choice. I'm actually not sure if this is the correct title..but it's not the normal battle theme, nor the boss battle theme, nor the theme that plays when you battle the Four Emperors. It's the theme that plays when you fight "Plague" inside the moon, and the other Dark Summons while on your way to Zemus. Oh, and "The Fierce Battle" from FFVI would be perfect too. |

...I'll probably sound weird, but I would really like the end of the game, or the credits to have something a little softer than all of the battle themes we have. I've been listening to Pray and Love Will Grow again, and I would love to hear something like that for - what we are assuming will be - the happy ending of the game. Or at least an ending that ends well enough. Either way, I would love a lyrical arrangement of one of the classic themes...

A vocal theme would be a nice touch. They could have done similar like with FF8 or FF9, where you had the leitmotif of the main theme appearing all over the place and then wrap it up with a vocal of the main theme in the end of the game.
Personally, I'd like to hear ''Those chosen by the Planet'' (FF7), because I like its feeling (evil, unredemable, stuff like that), ''The Oath'' (FF8), ''Vamo' Alla Flamenco'' (FF9) and probably some other songs I can't remember now.

There does seem to be a vocal song in there. I must have mentioned it in a different thread, but a Japanese website offering ring tones for mobile phones is going to have some Dissidia tracks, and it mentions an 'insert song'.
Out of the tracks they mentions, the most suitable seems to be a song called "Mamoru Beki Chitsujo" (Order Worth Protecting).
