The ones of us that are former staff are myself, Dacon, Dumb Apple and Pixel, I think).

So is anyone going to do this or is everyone too lazy/confused or not have the access?

Oh yeah I forgot to mention how to make the user ranks, which is my fault not yours. Go to "user ranks", select "Add new user rank", set "usergroup" to "Former Staff," Minimum Posts to 0, Stack Rank to Yes, and Display Type to Always, then enter text "<span style="font-color: orange;">Former Staff</span>".

Then you'll also want to move the primary usergroup of the people mentioned above (Myself, I'm Batman, Dumb Apple and Pixel) from the Donators group to Former Staff. If they have Donators as a secondary usergroup it should be unselected since otherwise, unless I'm mistaken, both ranks would display. Which would be kind of daft. (It's possible that it's set to "Display Only If Displaygroup = This Group," but I doubt that's the case since Munky, Pixel, S and G and myself all seem to have other displaygroups set and still have the donator title currently).

Come to think of it, Former Staff should also be its own category on showgroups, so go to edit usergroups, edit the Former Staff group, and set that to viewable on showgroups.

Did you skip the "Create new usergroup based on " step? I might not have given details clearly enough, since the interface is really frakking confusing. I think iyou might've just set forum permissions, not the entire usergroup's permissions.

Also my sig seems to look all right on the profile page but when I post it's not parsed, and then when I go to edit it it says I have too many characters. I guess I haven't edited it since I was an admin
