Default G.I. Joe/Transformers Movie...?

If I'm correct to say, Paramount Pictures owns the movie rights to both franchises. I'm not sure if any of the current films have ever made references each other, but I think a crossover movie like this might have some potential.

Another question comes to mind. If Paramount did decide to give the green light on this, would you prefer that they tried to tie the existing plot lines of the Transformers and G.I. Joe movies together? Or do you think, like in the comics, it's better that they reboot both franchises?

There aren't enough bad things to say about the Transformers movies.

Till its proven they can make one of these competently, they shouldn't even be thinking about a crossover.

One of the big problems with the Transformers movies was that there to many humans on screen.
Im sure adding more of them would totally fix that to many humans issue...

I find this hilarious. I never knew you guys hated the Transformers movies THIS bad, let alone Rise of Cobra.

But from What Barry Burton suggested, I do agree that the Transformers movies hardly had any plot lines. I suggested perhaps rebooting both Transformers and G.I. Joe, starting all over again from the start with a fresh new storyline, and try to cross both franchises together.

Of course, doing that ain't easy, especially for the writer. But if any of you have ever read the comics, and saw how they tied G.I. Joe and Transformers together, I'd say they did it pretty well.

(SPOILER)
