![]() Anyone else seen this? I found it quite interesting. i naturally skipped over the parts of the games I didn't play but for VII through X-2 it was pretty fun to read. |

Really? Has anyone see this?
Also, I thought the "Tifa's gloves" blooper was fixed in AC Complete.

I haven't seen this, although I did see Cloud's sword momentarily disappearing during the highway chase.
![]() And yeah, it was. ...what? ![]() It didn't deflect at all, it went through in a straight line. And I doubt Shinra was EXPECTING Weapon to show up so they purposefully aimed the cannon to the wrong direction, knowing that they could then deflect it into the real target by using Diamond Weapon and... GAH THIS IS STUPID. This is pretty dumb too, since it was done on purpose. Cloud hits the thing while it is in mid-air, so while it re-materializes, it sinks back down to the ground (while still doing the running motion). Gah. I'm sure Shinra was counting on a Weapon to deflect the shot....
![]() Several degrees off is pretty minor. I'd say BC talking about AVALANCHE shooting Midgar with the Junon cannon is much more of a discrepancy.

Unless the cannon is able to turn more than 90° to the right (impossible actually) OR shoot around the whole globe, this really is one huge discrepancy.

I mean seriously, did the writers not even LOOK at the FF7 map? lol. For one, the Junon cannon actually fired projectiles, so the concept of keeping it airborne the whole way around the globe is...ludicrous. (Though Scarlet does say the Sister Ray fires "mako-powered shells" doesn't she? Doesn't look like a shell...)
I mean AVALANCHE having control of the Junon cannon is a big threat, why didn't they just leave it at that. Or say they're gonna shoot Costa del Sol or something.

I don't know, it might depend on the fire power and the trajectory or something, using the planet's gravity for a slingshot effect.
Dunno if that'd work. ![]() |

![]() ![]() You know...even if it COULD get around the globe, I still don't think the could get a good angle to Midgar. Especially with all the mountains and stuff. It would be an incredible feat.

It goes through that.
Also, the projectile was so insane and overpowered that it created its own time-space rift, allowing it to change its trajectory and bend around the globe. In fact, it only reappears in normal spacetime a few times, coincidentally when you see it in CG scenes. |

Well that vid isn't really correct either.
No shit, Rufus doesn't have any signs of Geostigma despite having his head bandaged. He's mostly just acting. He didn't need a wheel chair either. His Geostigma is just on his hand and maybe arm. His whole sick routine is a joke. And the reason why Kadaj screamed was because he saw that Cloud's sword ended up chopping the box and hurting the pieces of Jenova inside. That's why he looked back at Cloud angrily. Cause he hurt "mother." And I don't think there's really a ghost image of Aerith in that picture. ![]() |
