Turbulence of FFVII

Turbulence of Final Fantasy VII is an extra I'm looking for, from the Advent Children Complete disc.

The only version I've found so far is on YouTube, but it's in Japanese, with no English subtitles.

Can anyone help me? Maybe they have the disc, & can transfer the video to YouTube, or something?

I've also contacted the poster of the video, to see if he has anything.

Yeah, I saw the Japanese version on Youtube too. I really want to hear the english version, unfortunately I can be of no help to you. I don't even have ACC myself. I don't have blu-ray! /wrists.

If only the rip online had showed us all of the extras too.

If you don't want to buy a BD player, your only choices would be:

1) look harderer
2) make do with the Japanese one
3) change your mind and buy a BD player/use someone else's

You're not really missing much with Turbulence, though.

Okay, I have 2 questions about the North American Blu-Ray FFVII: ACC release.

1. Is "Legacy" just another name for the Turbulance?
2. In the N.A. release of ACC Turbulance is the narration with English voice of Cloud (Steve Burton)?

Aaah, so that's what Turbulence is - I had no idea what the hell it was until I noticed the little title at some point during the... was it's other title, the "Reminiscence of FFVII Compilation" or something of the like?

And yeah, Steve Burton didn't narrate it for the NA release, which is sad - still, though, the fact that we've got Cloud narrating about FFVII makes me laugh.

It's still in Japanese, hence Sakurai is still narrating.

Did they bother to dub any of the extras this time either? IIRC the closest they got with AC was splicing in some footage of the English VAs in Distance for the special edition set.

No, none of the extras are dubbed - rehash of "Distance" is still the closest they've gotten to that. You know, seeing as it's supposed to be "much closer to a perfect version of AC," they could have done a lot of other little things that would make it that much better for us Westerners.

And just to stick to the topic of the thread, I'm really sorry but the only reason why I can speak so confidently about all this is because I'm currently "on vacation" at my cousins' place in Ottawa. As fate would have it, they have a BluRay player - I happened to bring along my copy of ACC just in case this would happen. I got lucky~
But this being the case, I don't have any sort of way to get the extra into some sort of digital, sendable media; I can't even just set up a tripod and videotape it off the TV because I have neither a video camera, a digital camera, nor a tripod here.
