What a sad existance that would be
Loving someone forever is one thing, pining after is not healthy, especially how its interpreted by those who ship them after the events of FF7.
Makes me think of that quote by one of the devs (cant remember who it was) about how he was surprised people...
It will probably be different, but I wouldnt like for them to introduce Zack into Aerith moments, just like I would hate if they introduced Aerith or Zack into the LF when its a moment for Cloud and Tifa.
The hand reach is pretty iconic and ties in well with Advent Children, but yeah clarifying...
Oh dont get me wrong I want to see that scene, always makes me choke up. Who wouldnt want to see those who have left us again.
I would like for people to see it as such instead of as a gotcha for "it was Cloud and Aerith all along", as it is used in the deepest circles of the shipping...
Maybe I said this before, but I feel even if we get a non optional explicit (for a FF game) under the Highwind scene but the game still ends with Cloud reaching towards Aerith, some will say it was Aerith all along for Cloud.
My only wish for the trilogy is for them to make it clear enough...
About Aerith appearing less in the next installment...
Makes me think back to the old days of twilight. Back in my younger years when I swooned over it instead of seeing how problematic it all was.
Anyways, I remember in the book New Moon, we dont see Edward most of the book even though he's...
I fully believe that even if the third part is extremely explicit CT and it still ends with "I think I can meet her there" then the bad faith takes will continue forever.
Not saying they should change the line more that some people really dont care about the story.
I would argue the story actually pulls CT apart, reuniting them until the very end.
Cloud and Tifa have feelings since childhood right? But the bridge incident happens, thus pulling them apart in those younger years.
Then Cloud leaves the village, so they are even further apart.
Then the...
One nitpick, the Highwind scene is not optional, its variable.
Which reminds me of all the people who act like if the HA and LA versions are opposite of one another, when its just more "complete" version of the other.
Its more like a reward for players to get the best outcome just like the...
So the LTD is basically about getting lost in the details huh.
The bigger picture shows one path that works.
Perhaps we will forever disagree in some details and intentions because thats how art is.
Time lines and multiple universes dont differ that much in principle, no?
My understanding is every action creates a new timeline in a new universe.
But multiple universes could be a completly different story with the same characters (?)
My comment still stands im a hater of those tropes lol...
Oh im the opposite of you, I dont like time travel or multiple universes because it usually leads to unintended plotholes. So I groaned when this was sort of that but im still hoping for it being better explained through Lifestream shenanigans or something in part 3.
I keep asking myself what is the point of "multiple" Aeriths. Even if its one Aerith at different times and not multiple universes, I still dont understand how that services the story.
Edit: I guess my question is narratively, what is the point?
No surprise about the downvotes.
I remember when I first dipped my toes in the fandom after AC back in 2005, the number one thing I learned was that there was no answer to who Cloud ends up with or that he was pining after Aerith. Those two were the loudest options I encountered. Which I found...
