What? I can recall tons of scenery in FFX that was technology involved. FFXII on the other hand, was the first FF since IX to be more medieval with the castles and such (disregarding airships since pretty much every FF needs to have these)

Walkthroughs immerse you more in the battle system. It gets pretty easy. Just chain abilities over and over again and then lower your RISK. It gets pretty easy. I loved the Crossbow. You need to give it another shot.

Honestly I think that the reason people aren't always crazy about it is due to the sound compression which changes the songs and makes them quieter and less amazing (though I like it in game as well) BTW I think that it is very catchy. I whistle/hum the songs from FFXII more than any other main...
